Past Cases.

I have examined many cases of alleged hauntings and ghostly disturbances in a multitude of locations, most often pubs for some reason. The high majority of these seemed less than productive and without doubt a high number were hoaxes.
Many private house cases were found to be a blend of hoaxes and a result of an over active imagination with just a few defying rational explanation.
Probably my favourite location was the foreboding Braunstone Hall (lower image) in Leicester, I do believe this case to be genuine.
The other promising case is Chingle Hall in Lancashire.

About Me.

Hi, I'm Andrew James Wright, a ghost researcher since the mid 1970s. One of only a few with 30 years experience in the field. Although I have 'served my time', countless hours bored crazy stuck in various ruins, churches and other such places waiting for nothing to happen, I still occasionally appear if invited.
I have no psychic abilities whatsoever and prefer to examine claims of ghosts and poltergeist infestations with a scientific overview.
I have no time for the spate of overnight experts spawned by questionable TV shows on the cable circuits, these dour progs bear no resemblance whatsoever to ghost research. Admittedly, we all have to start somewhere, so study case histories from reliable sources and journals, mug up on it over a few years before embarking.. this subject has no place for sensationalism.
These days I much prefer writing or delivering talks on the subject.
